All contributors of accepted abstracts (except for Late News papers) are invited to submit a full paper
for publication in a special issue of Applied Surface Science .
The number of printed pages is rigorously limited to 6 pages for invited papers and 4 pages for contributed papers.

Papers should be sent through the Elsevier Editorial System (EES) by October 22, 2007.
The first time you access the EES page for Appl. Surf. Sci., you will need to register to obtain a username and password.
It is recommended to refer to EES Tutorial for Authors before submission.
In order to ensure that the paper is allocated correctly into the special issue, please choose "ACSIN-9"
from the pull-down menu when you reach the "Select Article Type" step in the submission process.

All invited and contributed papers submitted for the special issue of ACSIN-9 will be reviewed.
Papers not presented at the conference will be excluded.

We hope that many of the presenting authors will take this opportunity to publish their papers.
