We propose a method to produce a hard copy of a three-dimensional (3-D) image by a conventional high-resolution printer. Parallax information is recorded on a transparency by the printer, and a reflection-type holographic screen composed of a number of small elementary holograms is attached on the transparency. The quality of the 3-D image is investigated, and the characteristics of the proposed method are described. 3-D image of full-parallax is experimentally produced using a laser printer.
