Dynamic Memory Arrays and Chaos in a Spatial-Light-Modulator Ring Circuit

An optical ring circuit with two spatial light modulators is capable of supporting a variety of nonlinear spatio-temporal dynamics, including an array of bistable spots with novel Trigger-type flip-flop operation.
