Theoretical analysis of optical focusing system for recording dynamic hologram in photorefractive crystal by Gaussian light beams is carried out. Relations between parameters of the crystal, recording beams and lenses have been found. Optimal focusing system constructed taking into account obtained relations allows us to record fast and simultaneously highly efficient dynamic hologram in photorefractive crystal with low-power continuous-wave lasers.

Key words: dynamic hologram, photorefractive crystal, focusing system
