We propose a new multiple-exposure scheme for full-color full-parallax holographic three-dimensional (3D) printer, in which two of three primary-color holograms are exposed at the same location on the recording medium. In this paper, the optimal combinations of colors for multiple exposure are experimentally derived. In addition, it is shown that the proposed method enables higher brightness, better color reproducibility, and high resolution through the experiment of recording and measurement of color-chart holographic stereogram.
